Nanyang Polytechnic’s School of Design & Media (SDM) empowers the next generation of designers to create meaningful impact through creativity, innovation and collaboration. Story Of The Works

Christopher Anand, Claribel Kee, Lee Le Ying, Angellynd LIm, Magdalene Wong, Mischa Jade Arumugam, Simon Sun, Tan Qi Jun, Be-Cycle Project — BE-CYCLE reimagines Bishan MRT as a living ecosystem where sustainability meets community. Guided by Shan Shan the otter, visitors donate, create and exchange through a circular economy, transforming everyday commuting into meaningful experiences of creativity, collaboration and environmental stewardship.

Tan Zi Tong, Sylvia Tan, Natalie Neo, Nur Sabrina, NHG Innovation Challenge — Healocity is designed to support individuals in building consistent daily routines through the principles of Interpersonal and Social Rhythm Therapy (IPSRT). Through companion characters, personalised gardens and gamified wellness tracking, it empowers patients to build healthier habits while making recovery feel engaging, rewarding and emotionally supportive.
