Story of The Works
Will Sheaf, The Fall of Icarus —A Cold War reimagining of the Greek Icarus myth. Imprisoned in Minos’s steel factory in Siberia, Icarus and Daedalus build diesel-powered wings from scrap metal to escape. Avoiding the toxic sludge below, Icarus flies too high and is struck by lightning, falling to his death through his own hubris.
Beck Leong, The Fox and The Hound — A medieval retelling of The Fox and the Hound in which they forge an unlikely friendship based on trust. However, their downfall was inevitable: the hound bound by loyalty, the fox by instinct. The fox’s growing crimes culminate in the king’s death, throwing the kingdom into chaos.
