NAFA’s School of 3D Design is a practice-led creative community where design ideas are developed through making, experimentation and critical inquiry. Students engage with furniture, spatial and object-based practices while building core competencies in materials, prototyping, digital modelling and fabrication. Through studio learning, industry projects and interdisciplinary collaboration, the school encourages a deep understanding of craft, materiality and form.
The school’s creative practice spans furniture design, interior and spatial design, landscape and architectural thinking, and contemporary craft. Students are encouraged to explore the relationship between people, objects and environments while responding to social, cultural and environmental challenges. Rooted in Southeast Asia and connected to global design conversations, the School of 3D Design nurtures thoughtful, skilled and adaptable designers who create meaningful experiences through making and innovation.

Story Of The Works
Tek Kheanvanvatna, Through the Frame — Through the Frame explores time as an illusion, something understood through frames and mediation rather than directly perceived. Using stacked physical layers and digital elements, the clock filters and constructs how time is revealed, demonstrating that our perception of time depends on the systems and tools through which we interpret it.
Tek Kheanvanvatna, Intern Tener: System of Holds —This collection explores the concept of holding through the structure of a tripod. The ring and earring support the gemstone by a series of individual supports, not a single dominant form. A circular frame provides stability while each element is positioned in relation to the others, creating a system where stability is achieved.
Shwe Yee Lin Let, Golden Hour — Time as Story which define memory, milestone, timeline and heritage. The Phygital clock represents time not as numbers but as memories and culture moments. As a Burmese student studying in Singapore, there are memories that cannot be travel back in times, due to that, What If I could design the clock where you can travel back into those memorable memories like a time machine and experience them again to make these memories to relive.
Shwe Yee Lin Let, Lockee’ — The jewellery collection of bracelets and a ring is Inspired by the functional elegance of bag buckle, where its f features a locking mechanism allowing wearer to interchange gemstone of their choice effortlessly. Crafted from sterling silver, the collection combines durability with refined craftsmanship, highlighting both functionality and elegance.
