Graduated from Clazroom College in 2014 with a major in 2D illustration and possesses 8 years of design experience.
Since 2017, I have been creating the comic Pee Yong Diary, which focuses on everyday life and has developed a growing fan base.
In 2022, I have showcased Pee Yong at conventions and markets, featuring merchandise inspired by Malaysian food and culture to highlight local charm.

Story Of The Works
Hey there! “Pee Yong” is actually a nickname based on my name, and it really represents who I am. You might wonder why I chose it—well, it’s because when you swap the “i” for an “e” in Chinese, it takes on a whole new meaning. We’ve shared lots of fun moments joking around, and that’s when my creative side found its playful spirit!
My story all kicks off from my teenage memories and has evolved into my current passion as a foodie. My creative journey literally goes something like this: high school, then work, then discovering my love for food, and now I’m all about exploring local culture.
The idea all began at the Pinang Peranakan Mansion—it’s such a captivating place!
We’re passionate about connecting people with Malaysia’s rich and vibrant culture, helping everyone develop a stronger appreciation for our unique Southeast Asian traditions.
Living in a delightful, multiracial foodie paradise, we’ve experienced the warmth and diversity firsthand, and now we’re excited to share that joy with friends from around the world!
Overseas event milestones
2024: Invited by the ACF organizer to participate in an IP trend toy event at Dongguan, China.
